More than 2.8 million Ontarians face this reality each day as their struggle to breathe. You can help change that through the Lung Health Foundation’s Will Campaign.
What is The Will Campaign?
The Will Campaign brings together a group of well-respected local lawyers in Mississauga, Brampton, and London, Ontario to give members of the public a chance to have their basic Will and/or Power of Attorney written at a fraction of the typical cost. All proceeds go to the Lung Health Foundation to support programs for people living with lung conditions and their families, and to advance education, research and advocacy:
- Basic Will: $150 each
- Basic Power of Attorney: $50 each (Personal Care, Continuing Property)
Our participating lawyers donate 100% of their time to ensure that you have an up-to-date Will and that your wishes are respected. The prices listed are for a Basic Will and/or Power of Attorney. Additional time that may be required for more complex services will be discussed with you at the time of your consultation and additional fees will be payable to the lawyer at the lawyer’s regular rate.
How does this work?
The first step is to register for the Will Campaign by completing and submitting the form below.
Once you submit, the Lung Health Foundation will contact you and refer you to the closest available lawyer in either Mississauga, Brampton, or London, Ontario, who will discuss next steps and appointment availability.
You will be asked to make a donation to the Lung Health Foundation for the total amount of the services agreed upon during the initial consultation, as listed above. Your participating lawyer will then forward the donation directly to the Lung Health Foundation on your behalf.
Please note that unfortunately, we cannot issue you a tax receipt for your contribution, as there is a benefit to your donation.
