Lung Health Support Groups in Ontario

Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with a lung disease such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) (chronic bronchitis and emphysema), pulmonary fibrosis, bronchiectasis, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer, or asthma

Have you ever wanted to share your own experiences, accomplishments and frustrations in dealing with this disease? A support group can offer you a place to share your thoughts with others, as well as support and empathy only people affected by lung disease can understand. This camaraderie helps you realize that you are not alone in this journey.

At the Lung Health Foundation we understand lung disease. We know that lung disease that can affect many parts of your life. Many people are faced with the emotional and physical challenges of daily living with lung disease.

Starting Your Own Lung Health Support Group

Please make sure to call the group contact prior to attending for schedule and location information. You can also call our Lung Health Line 1-888-344-LUNG (5864) to find a support group or a pulmonary rehabilitation program or exercise maintenance program in your community.

Lung Health Foundation’s Lung Cancer Support Group

Meets virtually on zoom on the second Thursday of the month from 1-2pm EST. For more info call (416) 864-9911 or email patientsupport@lunghealth.ca

Canadian Lung Cancer Advocacy – Breathe Hope

A Facebook group composed of a dedicated group of Canadian lung cancer patients and caregivers. At their core, they see the value in having a supportive, collaborative, and sharing community which reaches Canadian LC patients and caregivers from coast to coast.
