How to enter
- Entering is easy! Donate $100 CAD or more by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31st to be entered. Each donation of $100 constitutes one entry.
- NOTE: All non-winner donations will be eligible for an official donation tax receipt. The winners’ donations will NOT be eligible for a tax receipt.
Eligibility, terms, and conditions
Entry: Eligible individuals who make a donation to the Lung Health Foundation (“LHF”) of $100 CAD or more during the specified Entry Period, will receive one of two Billy Idol ‘Door Prize’ Packs (“Prize Packs”). Donations can be made through the general donation form at lunghealth.ca/give OR the dedicated Promotion donation form at lunghealth.ca/billyidol.
Eligibility: The Billy Idol ‘Door Prize’ Promotion (“Promotion”) is open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Entry Period: The Promotion begins at 12:00 AM ET July 18, 2024 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024 (“Entry Period”).
Number of Entries: Participants may make multiple donations, but each donation must be a unique transaction to qualify for an additional entry.
Winner selection: A random draw will take place on Thursday, August 1st. Prize Pack winners will be notified by end of business hours. Winners must respond within 72 hours to claim their prize; failure to do so may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner will be selected.
Prize Details: Prize Packs cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize. LHF is not responsible for any additional costs associated with claiming or using the tickets, including but not limited to transportation, accommodation, food or beverages. Prize Packs are valued at approximately $700 CAD.
Publicity Release: By participating, entrants consent to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
General Conditions: LHF reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with the rules and regulations. LHF reserves the right to cancel or modify the Promotion if any fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond its control impair the integrity of the Promotion.
Privacy: Personal information collected during the contest will be used only for the purpose of administering the contest and will not be shared with third parties. Entrants can choose to ‘opt in’ to receiving future communications within the donation form, but opting in does not affect winning odds.
Limitation of Liability: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Lung Health Foundation and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Promotion or any prize won.
Governing Law: The Promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of Ontario. By participating in the Billy Idol ‘Door Prize’ Promotion, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the decisions of the LHF, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.
