Cultivate. Amplify. Collaborate.
This page will guide your understanding of the Lung Health Foundation’s research program. Skip ahead to learn more about:
Our Philosophy & Program Roots
Lung health research is notoriously overlooked and underfunded. Take one analysis by the World Health Organization (WHO), which compared research funding across 13 different categories of non-communicable diseases. Shockingly, research into respiratory diseases ranked at the very bottom of that list, despite a massive global burden of disease. Our research program is here to fill these gaps and more while advancing research and innovation in Canada.
