Asthma affects roughly one in five Canadian children.  Through our Navigating Asthma This School Year series, the Lung Health Foundation is helping parents, guardians, and educators keep them safe from asthma flare-ups at school.

Have you read the Lung Health Foundation’s Back-to-School Asthma Management Protocol? If you still have questions, this session is for you. Certified Respiratory Educator Chris Haromy will take you through the asthma control basics, and answer your questions about back-to-school in the age of COVID-19.

How will COVID-19 precautions affect students with asthma? What kind of asthma triggers are common in the classroom? If you are an educator or school administrator, we have answers for you. 

The Lung Health Foundation’s Navigating Asthma ​this School Year webinars will give you an opportunity to improve your asthma knowledge and have your questions answered live by a Certified Respiratory Educator. Register for one of these sessions, and find out how you can play a role in preventing and managing asthma attacks at school:

  • Session 1: Monday, August 31  |  11:00 a.m. to noon EDT  
  • Session 2: Tuesday, September 1  |  11:00 a.m. to noon EDT 
  • Session 3: Wednesday, September 2 |  11:00 a.m. to noon EDT
