Giving Tuesday typically takes place in the late autumn, allowing us all a chance to “give back” after the shopping excitement of Black Friday.
But life is anything but “typical” these days. That’s why an emergency COVID-19 edition of this global day of giving has been created. For the first time ever, Giving Tuesday is happening on Tuesday, May 5th!
How we’re celebrating
We have been blown away by the response to our latest campaigns – but there is still so much work to be done. For the Lung Health Foundation, Giving Tuesday will be a celebration of just a few of the areas of impact touched by your past-and-present donations to the Lung Health Foundation.
Gift matching
An event as special as Giving Tuesday needs a little something extra. So thanks to an anonymous partner who has teamed up with a member of our Board of Directors, the first $30,000 we raise on May 5th will be matched dollar-for-dollar!
