Speaker Profiles

Manuel Ester is a PhD candidate at the Health and Wellness Lab within the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Kinesiology. He works as an exercise instructor and researcher with adults affected by cancer, seeking to integrate exercise into standard care within oncology. His research is focused on using technology to improve maintenance of exercise behavior change, ensuring that long-term health benefits are achieved.

Julianna Dreger is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) at the University of Calgary’s Health and Wellness Lab. She is the research coordinator for EXCEL: EXercise for Cancer to Enhance Living Well and also assists with other exercise oncology projects in the lab, as a CEP.
